We are proud to announce the change of our firm name to Ferencik Libanoff Brandt Bustamante & Goldstein, P.A., effective January 1, 2013, to reflect the promotion of Jordana L. Goldstein to named partner with the firm.
Ms. Goldstein joined the construction law firm in 1997 and has built a highly respected construction law and general commercial litigation practice. Her work includes the representation of developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, suppliers/manufacturers, and governmental entities in a wide range of complex construction law matters. She is one of only 45 female Board Certified Construction Lawyers in the State of Florida and is AV Rated by the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
An active member of the legal and civic community, Ms. Goldstein is a Past President of the Broward County Bar Association and is a long time member of the Construction Law Committee. She is only the sixth woman and one of the youngest presidents in the history of the Association. Ms. Goldstein has also served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Broward Bar and has been the recipient of several awards in recognition of her leadership and dedication to the Bar. She has also received several awards from the Florida Department of Children and Families for her work with children in foster care. Ms. Goldstein currently serves on the City of Coral Springs Unsafe Structures Board and is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section (Construction Law Committee), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), Broward County Women Lawyers Association and the B’nai Brith Justice Unit.
Jordana Goldstein is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and District of Columbia. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Goldstein served as a Judicial Clerk in the Seventeenth Judicial District Circuit, Broward County. She is a 1994 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and earned her Bachelor’s Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the George Washington University.
